Cisco, one of Virada Digital’s sponsors, will proudly announce, today, 1 Billion reais (about 600 million dollars) invested in Brazil until 2015. During the event, Rodrigo Abreu, Cisco’s CEO, will give further details about the money distribution.
Cisco is to promote Cisco Plus Brazil 2012 from Monday to Wednesday, the company’s major technological event. In its eighth edition and for the first time to be held in Rio, Cisco Plus will take place at SulAmérica Convention Center.
The main goal of the event is to create a Center for technological innovation in Rio de Janeiro to be operative until the end of 2012.
During the next 3 days, Cisco will hold a 220m2 stand presenting its main technological features that aim to place Cisco as one of the leading companies in the next wave of collaboration and communication in the global market. Cisco’s stand will also host the participation of its main partners and strategic alliances.
